🐾 IT’S A GREAT WEEK TO BE A PANTHER! 🐾 There is a LOT happening over the next few days, and we hope you’ll get out and support our students, programs, and community! 🍽️ THURSDAY — Make a night of it in Pauls Valley! Start the evening at Punkin’s BBQ from 5:00–7:00 PM for “Tip a Panther!” Grab dinner and support Panther Football as our players help serve and earn those tips! 🎬 Then head over to Thompson Field at 8:00 PM for Community Movie Night! We’ll be showing Remember the Titans on the big video board under the lights. Admission is $5, and concessions will be available with movie theater favorites like popcorn, candy and drinks. 🥎 Our Junior High Softball team will also be competing in the Lindsay Tournament Thursday through Saturday. 🐾 FRIDAY — Panther Athletics hits the road and the field! 🏃 HS Cross Country competes at Newcastle beginning at 8:00 AM. 🥎 Lady Panther Softball hosts Davis at 3:30 PM. 🏈 Then Friday night, Panther Football travels to Seminole for a 7:30 PM kickoff. Make the trip and help us fill the visitors’ side with Panther Pride! 🎺📣 SATURDAY IS A HUGE DAY FOR PAULS VALLEY! 🎺 Pauls Valley will host the PV Marching Band Championships, bringing bands and visitors to our community for a full day of marching competition. Come out to Thompson Field, enjoy some great performances, and support the Pride of the Valley! 📣 Our PVHS Cheerleaders will be competing at STATE on Saturday! Best of luck to our Panthers as they represent Pauls Valley on the state stage! 🥎 Lady Panther Softball will also be on the road Saturday, taking on Ada at 11:00 AM. From football and softball to cross country, cheer, marching band and community events, there are plenty of opportunities over the next few days to get out and SUPPORT OUR PANTHERS! Grab dinner. Watch a movie under the lights. Take a road trip to Seminole. Spend Saturday enjoying some of the best marching bands around. And cheer on our Panthers wherever they compete. ❤️🤍💙 We hope to see Panther Country out in full force!

Each of our schools has a full week of dress-up days planned: 🎨 Monday – Class Colors Wear your grade-level color! Be sure to check your school’s graphic for your assigned color. 🏀 Tuesday – Sports Team Day Represent your favorite sports team! College, professional, or your favorite local team . 📍 ENTRY & SECURITY
All fans must enter through the Northwest Gate and will be screened using our CEIA OPENGATE weapons detection system. Please allow a little extra time when arriving. No weapons are permitted in the stadium, including pocket knives.

👜 BAG GUIDELINES
All bags are subject to search. Clear bags will help speed up entry, but are not required this season. Please see the graphic for permitted bags.

💳 CARD PAYMENTS NOW ACCEPTED!
We now accept card payments at all gates and concession stands for athletic events! Concession menus will reflect credit card pricing, with a discount available for cash payments.

🏈 JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL TONIGHT AT THOMPSON FIELD! 🏈

Panther fans, we’re looking forward to a great night of football as Pauls Valley takes on the Lindsay Leopards! Please take a minute to review a few important updates and reminders before heading to the stadium.

⏰ UPDATED START TIME:
The 7th grade game will now begin at 5:30 PM, with the 8th grade game to follow.

🚪 STADIUM ENTRY & SECURITY:
All spectators must enter through the Northwest Gate. Fans will be screened using our CEIA OpenGate Weapons Detection System, so please allow a little extra time when arriving.

No weapons of any kind will be permitted inside the stadium, including pocket knives.

🎒 BAG INFORMATION:

🔴⚫ Enhanced Safety at Thompson Field ⚫🔴

Beginning Tuesday night with our home Junior High Football game against Lone Grove, Pauls Valley Schools will begin utilizing our new CEIA OPENGATE weapons detection system at Thompson Field. We will also use this system at other large district events moving forward.

Our goal is simple: provide an additional layer of safety for our students, staff, families, and visitors while keeping entry into our events as convenient as possible.

OPENGATE allows attendees to walk through a quick, contactless screening process. In most cases, fans can leave personal items in their pockets and purses rather than stopping to empty everything before being screened.

IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR SPECTATORS:

🚪 All spectators must enter Thompson Field through the NORTHWEST ENTRY GATE.

🏟️ All spectators will sit in the HOME-SIDE BLEACHERS.

⛔ The visitor-side bleachers will be closed, and spectators will not be permitted on the visitor side.

⏰ Please arrive early. All spectators will enter through one location and complete the new screening process, so please allow a few additional minutes to enter the stadium.

🎒 You generally will not need to empty your pockets or purse. Simply follow the directions of staff members as you enter.

❤️ Please be patient with us. This will be a new process for our staff and community, and we will continue working to make it as smooth and efficient as possible.

We know that no single safety measure can do everything. This is another tool and procedure we are putting in place to help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our students and everyone attending events at Thompson Field.

We will begin doing our annual back-to-school drills this morning. In some instances, we will be practicing responses with our local police department and fire department. Please do not be alarmed to see our police officers or firefighters at our sites.

🍔 FRIDAY LUNCH MENU CHANGE! 🍔 Due to the limited availability of Sloppy Joe seasoning, we’re making a small change to Friday’s lunch menu. We’ll be serving Taco Burgers instead of Sloppy Joe’s! 🌮🍔 Thank you for your understanding, and we hope our Panthers enjoy lunch! ❤️🖤

A Community That Shows Up ❤️🖤 A HUGE thank you to the Wynnewood Fire Department, and especially Pauls Valley Fire Chief Scott Woods and Lieutenant Steven Wilkerson, for stepping in to help with our track project! Our construction crew has been working hard to prepare the base for the new asphalt, including packing and rolling the track. With the extremely dry conditions we’ve been experiencing, getting the base properly compacted was proving to be a real challenge. Chief Woods and Lt. Wilkerson came out to the stadium, saw the situation, and helped arrange for water to be brought in so the crew could continue making progress. That water made a tremendous difference in the process and allowed the work to move forward. This is about more than just putting water on a track. It’s about communities working together. It’s about people seeing a need and being willing to help. It’s about the strong relationships that exist between our communities and municipalities throughout Garvin County. We are incredibly thankful for the leadership of our city officials and for the willingness of our neighbors to lend a helping hand when it matters. To the Wynnewood Fire Department, Chief Woods, Lt. Wilkerson, and everyone who helped make this happen — thank you! This is what community looks like. As we get ready to welcome our students back, here’s one important reminder for all Pauls Valley families:

🍎 ALL STUDENTS EAT FREE THIS YEAR! 🍎

For the 2026–2027 school year, every student enrolled at Pauls Valley Public Schools can receive one breakfast AND one lunch each school day at NO CHARGE through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

No meal application. No cost to families. All students are included.

We hope this makes the start of the school year a little easier for our families—and helps ensure every Panther has the fuel they need to learn, grow, and have a great day at school.
