Camille Milligan, PVES first grade teacher, attended the Payne Education Center in Moore, Ok over summer break for several days to complete a professional development training that utilizes Structured Literacy, bringing back a wealth of knowledge that will benefit our students.

Rhea Ann Williamson, T-1 teacher, and Charlotte Apel, first grade teacher, at PVES wrote a grant to the Pauls Valley Foundation for Academic Excellence in order to attended a Science in the Rockies conference with Steve Spangler in Denver, Colorado this summer.

Six PVES teachers went to Frisco, Texas over summer break to attend the Frog Street Early Childhood conference. The teachers enjoyed learning, bonding as a multi grade level team, and getting ready for the new school year!!

Every Football Friday!

Thank you to Mrs Herd and her family for putting the protective mats back around the poles on the playground. The Velcro wore out and so the mats have been off. Jon Herd, along with Connor and Anna Wilson helped secure them in order for students to be safe on the playground.

Garvin County Free Fair: First grade through third grade student will be attending the fair next Friday, August 28th.
Below are the times grade levels will attend.
1st grade will attend 8:50 - 10:40.
2nd grade will attend 9:15 - 11:15.
3rd grade will attend 9:45 - 11:45.
Students will return to school to eat lunch, and will not be allowed to buy anything at the fair. They do not need any money.
Please remind students to wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
Parents, students will not be allowed to walk around freely with you as a guest. Students must stay with their class unless you, as a parent, have checked them out of school.
