Pauls Valley Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 29th. While main roads are now clear, many side streets and rural roads remain unsafe. The safety of our students and staff is paramount in everything we do, and having anyone driving or walking in these conditions is not worth the risk. We appreciate the understanding and patience of our community as we work to reopen school as safely as possible. Thank you for your continued support. ❄️🚌💙

SNOW DAY / ACTIVITIES CANCELLED - WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 28TH

Efforts to clean our school grounds have made tremendous progress. However, the roads simply have not improved enough for us to safely hold school tomorrow. We are all anxious to get our students back in the classroom in a safe, warm environment. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to navigate this situation. Stay safe and warm!

Snow Day - Wednesday, January 28th

❄️ Snow Day / Activities Cancelled – Tuesday, January 27 ❄️

Pauls Valley Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, due to continued hazardous road conditions.

After evaluating side streets and rural routes (and after personally getting stuck and assisting others who were stuck), we determined it is not safe to open school tomorrow.

The sunshine today has helped improve conditions, and we are hopeful that another day of sun will make travel safe. Our crews continue working on school parking lots and walkways, and will have them ready once it is safe to return.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority. Please continue to monitor the Pauls Valley Schools App and our Facebook page for updates.

PS: Mr. Midkiff's picture yesterday at Whitebead left us inspired and definitely wishing we were somewhere warm in all this cold!

📢 School Closure Notice – Traditional Snow Day

Pauls Valley Schools will be closed tomorrow (Friday, January 23rd) due to inclement weather. This will be a traditional snow day, with no virtual instruction.

This decision was made after carefully balancing student safety with the needs of our community while monitoring changing weather forecasts. We must also consider the safety of our staff who commute, students who drive or walk to school, and ensure we never place our buses on the road in unsafe, inclement weather.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Please stay safe and warm, and continue to watch for updates.
