Due to road conditions and expected additional winter precipitation, Pauls Valley Schools will remain virtual for Wednesday, February 19th. Roads, parking lots, and county roads are icing, and wet roads are expected to freeze soon. Please stay safe and warm as the temperatures start dropping even colder.

Due to the winter weather advisory and forecasted winter weather conditions, Pauls Valley Schools will transition to virtual learning on Tuesday, February 18th. Students should have received packets or will have work assigned on Google Classroom. Teachers will be available through email and Rooms. Stay safe and warm!

As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, February 17th. This will be a professional day for our staff. Enjoy the three-day weekend and happy Presidents' Day!

The latest updates have pushed the potential winter weather further south and could impact travel conditions in Garvin County. Out of an abundance of caution and to provide as much notice as possible, Pauls Valley Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Safety is our first priority! We do not want to place students and staff on potentially unsafe road conditions. This will be a traditional snow day.

We are monitoring the forecast for Wednesday morning in our area. At this time, all freezing precipitation is predicted to be north of Pauls Valley. We are in contact with Garvin County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service and will be up early to check weather and road conditions.

Family Night is tomorrow night from 3:15 - 5 pm.

SUBSTITUTES NEEDED
Pauls Valley Schools is looking for substitute teachers for the remainder of the current school year. Applications are available in person at the Superintendent's Office at 301 North Chickasaw.

We look forward to welcoming all of our Panthers back to school tomorrow after the long weekend. It is forecasted to be a very cold start to the day tomorrow. The National Weather Service graphic includes tips for dressing warm. Layering and using gloves and caps provides warmth while outside and the ability to remove layers for comfort in warm buildings. Please consider dropping students off if possible to reduce any time they may spend outside.
