This year's Red Ribbon Week theme is "Make a Difference, Be a Hero, Stay Drug Free!" 🦸🏼♀️🦸🏻♂️
Thursday, October 29th will be Super Hero Day! Students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite super hero!
Our PVES book fair 'family night drawing' winners were preschooler, Avery Thomas, and second grader, Luna Hernandez! Thank you for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair!
Mrs. Ware's 2nd graders measured the height, weight, and circumference of the pumpkins provided by the school and then created bar graphs with the data. 🎃 📏
On Wednesday, Firefighter JD Pogue, Captain Bub Campbell, Lieutenant JD May, and Lieutenant Stephen Wilkerson talked to students at PVES about Fire prevention and safety. 👨🏻🚒🧯

Third Grade students who earned all A's or A's/B's on their report cards for the first nine-weeks of school celebrated with a donut 🍩 breakfast Wednesday morning!

Mrs. McCurley's kindergarteners were introduced to “Vowel Bat” this week and they love him! He helps those consonants make a word. Without Vowel Bat’s A, E, I, O, or U, a word just won’t work!
Ms. Susan helped a group of young scientists conduct some experiments yesterday! 🧪🥽

Hunter Walton, a second grader, completed a science experiment in class by planting a raw vegetable and watching to see if it rooted or sprouted. It did both!
Chance Lane rang the Success Bell for completing all of the first grade sight words. Great job Chance!
The PV Cheerleaders will be at PVES tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 14th to sell ribbons and tattoos since there is no school on Thursday (this week's game day)! Go Panthers!
