Eligibility:

  • Must be a graduating senior of Pauls Valley High School, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Financial need is considered.

The award may be used for tuition, fees, book expenses and room and board for full-time study at the University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma State University. The award must be used in the academic year following high school graduation. The award will be disbursed to the institution. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

The Senator Homer Paul Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 by his family.

  1. Please provide an written statement on the topic, "Student Leadership at Pauls Valley High School." (Please limit to 500 words.)
  2. Did you submit your household's FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) for the coming year when you completed the General Application? (NOTE: If you answered "no", please know that financial need may be considered for this scholarship, and to be eligible for this scholarship you need to return to the General Application/Student Profile and attach a FAFSA - or a 1040 if you cannot complete the FAFSA.) If you are unable to complete the FAFSA, please be sure to indicate your financial circumstances on your College Student Application under the unusual circumstances question.
